I am writing in response to an advertisement in the Daily Observer for the position of Lecturer in the English Department. You can see from my resume that I have received a Master’s in Language and Linguistics from North South University and Hons from Bangladesh Islami University in Language and Literature.

From my resume, you can also see that I have taught English in a variety of learning settings. After completing my graduation, I joined Imperial Academy as an English instructor in the area of Maniknogor in Dhaka and taught there for two years. I have the knowledge and experience needed them to put together presentations and to teach students about the origin of the English language and about some of the changes that have taken place throughout the years. I have also taught English at several Academic Coaching Centre from 2012 to 2015. Besides, I have been working as an English tutor for the past five years and I have sufficient experience and knowledge in this field.

My exceptional organizational skills, ability to work well under pressure, allow me to play a crucial role in fast-paced teaching environment. Furthermore, with the ability to develop lessons plans and activities in line with specific curriculum objectives, I believe I will be able to make an effective impact on the education in your university, and my experience of teaching provides me with a greater sensitivity for the learners.
