Endophora: Endophora is the reference of an expression with another expression which is used either before it or after it. One expression provides the information necessary to understand the other.

The endophoric relationship is often spoken of as one expression referring the other.

For example, a. A well-dressed man was speaking. He had a foreign accent. In the second sentence he indicates a well-dressed man.

b. If you need one, there’s a towel in the top drawer. In the first part one indicates towel, which is mentioned in the second part.
