Romanticism: Romanticism was an artistic, literary and intellectual movement that originated in the second half of the 10th century in Europe. In past it was a revolt against the neoclassicism of the previous centuries. It was personified most strongly in the visual arts, music and literature; but had a major impact on historiography education and natural history.
Most of the writing characteristics of Romanticism were love of nature, emotions, nationalism, supernatural and exoticism. The poets and writers of that era were good artists. They were seen as the creator of a number work that reflected their individuality and inner mind.
