Project work on: The ICE Today Vs Vanity Fair

Purpose:

The purpose of this paper is to analyse the similarities and dissimilarities between two different magazines from different socio-cultural background in terms of their selling point with the factors of attracting readers according to the readers demand as well the policies of formatting a magazine which takes into account about all these factors as crucial point to be the readers first choice.

v Double page spreads

Findings

  1. The cover page of Vanity Fair is much more Informative and attractive than ICE Today which can be considered as because of the demand of readers
  2. Both content pages are supported with the images however Vanity Fair Emphasized on the cover focus While designing the contents page which will help to attract more

  4. Use of double spread pages are found in both the magazines which we can consider as a factor to be dominant and emphasizing whether for ads or articles. ICE Today used less double spread pages than  Vanity Fair did.
